I came to residential Real Estate Sales a little differently than most.  I began working as an International Relocation Specialist, serving clients from Germany and France who were temporarily relocating to the Sacramento area for their job.  Having been a resident of Sacramento since 1980, educating my clients about our area came naturally.  An important aspect of International Relocations is finding a home in an area that suits my client’s lifestyle, commute, and their family’s education needs.  Given that English was always a second language for my clients, I also assisted them in finding the right grocery store, pharmacy, doctor, dentist, etc.  This experience has prepared me for being a Residential Realtor!

Working with my Real Estate Clients means more than just finding a house in their price range… it is also important that my clients understand all the aspects of the neighborhood they are preparing to live in.  The quality of the schools, if they have children, types of restaurants for the foodie, the closest park to walk their dog… access to the bike trail or the river… whatever they need ~ I want them to be fully informed.

So ~ who is Marlow Simonetto?

I spent my youth in the San Francisco Bay Area and moved to Sacramento after graduating from San Jose State University.  From the age of eleven until I was 25, I was a Nationally competitive Water Skier.  I was National Open Women’s Slalom Champion and ranked 4th in world in Slalom Skiing.  During the last several years of competition, I had endorsement contracts with MasterCraft Boats and Maheraja Water skis.  A funny little side note is that when I was in college, I worked at Marine Word in Redwood City as an Aquabelle in the ski show.  It was a great way to make a little extra cash on weekends AND get a tan.

After retiring from water skiing and moving to Sacramento, I had my first foray into running my own business.  I designed and manufactured a line of swimwear that fit athletic women.  For seven years, I grew the company to include accessories and men’s swimsuits.  I sold to over 400 stores nationwide, but ultimately gave up my business dream to start a family.

I have two daughters ~ Stefana and Elle.  Stefana graduated in 2008 from Rio Americano High School and in 2012 from University of California Santa Barbara with degrees in Business Economics and Communications.  She lives in San Francisco and works for a Public Relations Firm.  Elle graduated from St. Francis High School in 2014 and will be attending college out of state in the fall.  I am very proud of both of my amazing daughters!

My hobbies ~ I love Yoga and cycling…. Sacramento has some of the best yoga studios…Namaste.   The Sacramento area has many miles of accessible cycling trails.  The Amgen Tour of California agrees.  Paddle boarding, while a perfect sport for Sacramento, is a new sport for me, but hey, it’s outdoors and on the water… there are so many locations in Sacramento to access the water.  Lake Natoma, the American River, and the Sacramento River provide many locations for endless fun.

Maintaining integrity is essential to me while working with my clients as we put together a successful transaction.  No one wants surprises at the end of Escrow!  I continually communicate with my clients keeping them up to date on the progress of their sale or purchase.  I look forward to working with you on achieving your dream of homeownership.  All in all ~ I love living in Sacramento and assisting my clients in finding the perfect home, in the perfect location.

Marlow hung in there with us through a LONG home search and never gave up until we found the perfect house. She then handled all the details of the purchase perfectly. We LOVED doing business with Marlow and now look upon her not just us "our" realtor but also as our friend. Fred and Glory B

The service and support we have received from Marlow Simonetto was exceptional! We could not have asked for a better Realtor to help during the final phase of our relocation from Germany to California. After a 15 hour journey, we arrived with our 1 1/2 year old little boy in California. We all were exhausted. She worked tirelessly assisting us to settle in in Sacramento. We found Marlow to be a highly attentive agent, almost as if we were her only customers. She returned all phone calls and emails immediately. The situation on the rental house market wasn't good at the time we arrived. Marlow’s local market knowledge was invaluable and even in this situation she found the perfect house for us. Because of her relationships in the community she helped us to get a house for rent, which was offered for sale. She didn't help us only with the house. She helped us the first weeks with nearly everything. And to know her only a phone call away for questions was a comforting to (and still is). An example, our son got a high fever one evening and she wrote accidentally a message to ask how it is going and if everything is ok. I wrote her that our son has a fever. Some minutes later she rang the doorbell to pick my son and me up to bring us to an emergency room. And this is only one example. We really appreciate what Marlow has done for us and we wish all people who have to leave their host country meet someone like Marlow. Andreas and Katrin Goertz (and Paul)

Marlow Simonetto has been our relocation realtor when we moved to Sacramento in 2013. She is efficient, listens carefully the needs and aspirations of the new comers, and does a good job at looking for the best options. She has a profound knowledge of Sacramento area. What I like particularly is that Marlow never forces things; she always let the final decision with the client. Marlow is always available when you need an advise, it can go from social security number, to driver license, or best places to shop, and many more things. Last, but not least, Marlowi is a lovely person and it is nice to do business with her. I can only recommend her. We have known Marlow Simonetto for many years. I personally have served on association committees with her so I knew her dedication and drive at getting things done. When Marlow told me she was going into the Real Estate field I knew without a doubt that she would do very well. I also knew if I needed her services that she would be the one I would call. I didn't realize just how soon I would be calling her. David's mom died suddenly last June. This meant her home needed to be put on the market. The ordeal at getting a home ready for sale is overwhelming. Even though Marlow had only been in the business for a short time she knew what needed to be done. Where, when, why and how. She gave us names of appraisers, painter, hardwood floor finishers, electricians and then some. She knew all parties needed to make the whole process glide along smoothly. She also was a tremendous help with the Estate Sale, couldn't have done it without her. On time always. Keeping us continually in the loop. There never was a time when we didn't know what was happening. Because of her consistent endeavor to getting mom's house ready to sell the correct way it sold the first day on the market. And I might add it sold for more than it was listed for. Recommend Marlow Simonetto? We know we couldn't have got a better, more dedicated realtor anywhere. When we ever need to sell our home we know we will be in the best of hands with Marlow.
